We are excited to have an engaging, fun, and robust music program for all students at Franklin. Mrs. Sandstrom and Ms. Sarwono (Azose & Brink’s classes) meets with all students twice each week for 30-minute music lessons. Our music staff are committed to having a culturally inclusive music room. Please email Mrs. Sandstrom or Ms. Sarwono if you would like to see your culture shared in music class. This year in music we will continue emphasizing music and performance arts from around the globe using multilingual songs, folk dances, and instrument units. ​

I have asked students what places they would like to learn about. Parents – please reach out with your suggestions to Mrs.Sandstrom. We want to be responsive to this community.​

   Franklin Choir   

Ms. Sarwono is running the Franklin choirs this year. K-2 Choir is in progress and currently full for the year. Look for 3^rd-5^th grade choir registrations this January. The first 75 applicants this winter will be accepted. Contact her for any questions: csarwono@lwsd.org
