We are excited to have an engaging, fun, and robust music program for all students at Franklin. Mrs. Sandstrom and Mr. McRae meet with all students twice each week for 30-minute music lessons. Our music staff are committed to having a culturally inclusive music room. Please email Mrs. Sandstrom or Mr. McRae if you would like to see your culture shared in music class. This year in music we will continue emphasizing music and performance arts from around the globe using multilingual songs, folk dances, and instrument units. ​

I have asked students what places they would like to learn about. Parents – please reach out with your suggestions to Mrs.Sandstrom. We want to be responsive to this community.​

Franklin Choir

Mrs. Sandstom will be running both a grades 3-5 and grades K-2 choir this year. The 3-5 choir will begin in November and the K-2 Choir will begin in January. There will be a combined final choir concert at the end of winter. Contact Mrs. Sandstrom with any questions: Mrs.Sandstrom
